About

The Collaborating Center of Disaster Education Research and Implementation(ICCDERI)was established on March 1, 2015 in alliance with the aim of the Japan Disaster Education Liaison Network for UNWCDRR (http://www.bousai-edu.jp/jde-liaison-network/) created to organize an International Forum on Disaster Education Resilience as a public event at the United Nations 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (UNWCDRR), in Sendai, Japan. ICCEDERI also promotes realizing the “Sendai Declaration” adopted at the International Forum on Disaster Education Resilience. ICCEERI is a center for promoting multi-sector collaboration research projects within International Research Institute of Disaster Science at Tohoku University. As of Aplil 1, 2022,the name has been changed to the Collaborating Center of Disaster Education Research and Implementation and we are continuing our activities.
